The Project

EIS is a European collaborative project led by Professor Charles Wolfe, Head of the Division of Health and Social Care Research (HSCR) at King’s College London.

The study will develop a European methodology to assess the implementation of research evidence into practice - the European Implementation Score (EIS) - in primary, secondary and specialist care. This methodology will be developed from the perspectives of the following four different target groups, using stroke as the main example:

  •  Users and carers
  •  Voluntary organisations
  •  Range of health and social care professionals
  •  Health policy makers

The transferablility of the developed methodologies to coronary heart disease will also be assessed.

Please visit our work packages section for more information on how this will be achieved.
