Work Package Five
To identify implementation measures for successful implementation of research evidence into practice
WP5 will identify the association between the different components of the EIS developed in WP3 and the successful translation of evidence into practice. The success of implementation of research evidence into practice will be defined by the performance measures developed in WP4 and will be assessed using stroke datasets in Europe from national/regional audits and population based registers.
For this purpose the association between components of the EIS will be investigated, in addition to the performance measures for effective translation defined in WP4. The identification of successful implementation methods will be data driven using existing datasets from national audits and populations-based registers.
The EIS will be refined based on the results from WP5 and according to the abilities of its components in terms of predicting a successful implementation of research into practice.
